LG Optimus G : The New Superhero

The LG Optimus G has been launched in Korea yesterday and awaiting global launch in November. The expected price is around $869 which to my mind is not much considering that this is the best industry has to offer. The specs are jaw dropping and the phone looks like LG has taken time to craft it. Like every minute detail was kept in mind before making this product. They were first with their LG Optimus 2x to present dual core phone in the market and though it had some flaws they tried to eliminate those with Optimus 4x which according to me had addressed the issues with both Samsung Galaxy S III and HTC One X. But with the Optimus G things have chained they have mastered the technique of making phones beautiful, fast and simply outstanding. LG Optimus G rightfully deserves the crown of smartphones as of today. Will be waiting for the review.
Before beginning further watch how Optimus G is designed.

I think talking about specs will be like disrespecting this smartphone. It has the best specs of the industry be it anything but for those interested in specs, I will list them for you.
The Optimus G has a 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor which will beat the Tegra 3 to dust and can even surpass the Samsung's very own Exynos processor used in the Galaxy S III but let us wait for the benchmarks for further ado. LG launched the processor with Qualcomm on this phone and would be Qualcomm's latest offering to the market. The RAM of 2GB is amazing is more than anything you would ever need on a smartphone. The GPU used is Adreno 320 GPU which is used by other flagship phones as well. Watch the video for more on processor from Qualcomm.

The display is a whooping 4.7 inch True HD display with 470 nits of brightness. The display is very advanced type of display it uses 70% less power than regular LCD when displaying white. It also uses the G2 Hybrid Touch technology which is 30% thinner gap less panel.
Optimus G will either come with a 8MP or a 13MP camera depending on various regions it will be launched at. The camera is auto-focus camera. It is touted as one of the most ultra slim and compact cameras to make phone thinner. Watch the video below for more on camera.

The Optimus G is 8.45 mm thick and 145 g of weight with Android 4.0.4 ICS preinstalled with jelly bean update rolling out soon after the launch. The inbuilt storage space is of 32 GB. Connectivity options include almost every possible solution including LTE, they are 3G/4G (HSDPA, HSUPA, LTE), Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Direct, DLNA, Wifi Hotspot, Teether functionality, Bluetooth, NFC and Micro USB are present.
LG Optimus will come with Dolby Digital Mobile sound enhancement feature that will pump up the sound to good levels and make it clear. Though it is not clear what all will the enhancement include. There are obvious noise cancellations microphones. The phone will come with a huge 2100 mA battery which is of the same charge as the Galaxy S III but with more recharge cycles around 800 claimed by the company. Battery is very enhanced and can provide upto 15 hours of talktime which far better than all the flagship phones out there. But still with no benchmarks its impossible to judge at the moment. Watch the video below regarding the battery.

LG has really worked on the UI department which reflects in their current generation of phones. I wasn't a huge fan of the LG UI but with there recent LG UI 3.0 on most phones I was more than impressed. The UI is easy, fast and intuitive. LG's one company that has done their homework. With Optimus G we can only expect the things to get better. Their is a touted QSlide function for multi-screen functions and display and Camera Shutter that takes pictures on a voice command. Now thats talking.
Anyways whenever late in November this phone launches I am definitely going to check it out and post further reviews but it seems the phone is a clear winner and hence the superhero in the age of super smartphones.
