HTC One X+ : An alternate to Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Well the HTC event is just around the corner. HTC is holding an event on 18th September to display their latest phones based on Windows and the lineup will most probably be named as HTC 8x,8s and 8v. But their is also a leak suggesting the launch of the HTC One X+ which will be a larger HTC One X+ with a 5 inch display and a faster processor. Apart from this it is also suspected that it might be launched with HTC sense 4.5 running Jellybean on top of it. What we could expect more would be a larger battery to counter other phones in the market and to be priced competitively. Well the discussion leads to enormous and bemoth size this phone would have. It will well fit in the phablet family. Though its just 0.5 inch smaller then the new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 announced recently at the FCC, it is very close to the size of the original Galaxy Note. So what will you call it then?
Well HTC might be launching the device in direct competition to the Note 2 as they haven't got a device in that segment. They haven't released a tablet this year too. Is the phone giant sleeping? Funny when apple says its a new segment and will end the PC era then why not believe them? Anyways if they haven't launched the Flyer 2 this time around maybe they should pretty soon. But at the moment HTC One X+ has all of my attention and i would be glued to the event to find some exciting news. It has also been leaked that the processor is a more powerful version of the Tegra 3 processor blocked at 1.6Ghz . It will already make the quick phone quicker. Isn't that a bonus. HTC is also working on their sense upgrade and with this they will show the first phone running jelly bean from their stable. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
After Sony, Samsung, Nokia, Motorola and Apple its time for HTC to bring something new on the table and i am eagerly waiting. Motorola also has the event the very same day and LG will be hosting a event next day. Launches will never stop and as the technology progresses some will be able to keep the pace, some will move ahead and show the direction while some will be wiped out forever.
